德國威凱(Wacker)每年投資兩億馬克用作科研經(jīng)費(fèi)，確保所提供到市場(chǎng)的產(chǎn)品保持質(zhì)量的穩(wěn)定性，確保高層建筑的安全性。德國威凱(Wacker)為全球硅酮膠市場(chǎng)提供超過30％的原料。
威凱的硅酮膠主要用于高檔大廈的玻璃幕墻系統(tǒng)、石材幕墻系統(tǒng)和平板玻璃系統(tǒng)。
